Dear Delmonte Guests,
We are very happy to be open this 2020 season.
As a response to Covid-19 the following measures will be taken:
We will require all guests to Self & Family Assess before arriving.
This includes disclosing if:
They have been out of the country in the last 2 weeks.
Have had a fever, coughing, sneezing, sore throat, shortness of breath, or feel any symptoms of
If anyone should feel ill while at Delmonte, they will need to report this to us immediately and
we will assist them in self isolating until they leave the property.
The local Simcoe Muskoka Public Health Unit will be notified at that time.
We have all contact information available of all guests through our registration process for
Delmonte for the 2020 season will now be Full Housekeeping.
This means we will be requiring our guests, for our team’s safety and their own, to bring
their own linens, towels, blankets and pillows.
If someone is unable to provide their own bedding etc., because of special circumstances please
contact us for other options.
We will continue to provide lifejackets to our guests, and they will be sanitized between uses,
but we encourage our guests to bring their own for convenience if they have them.
Social Distancing will be required abiding by the current guidelines of 2 meters.
All public spaces including washrooms, games room, lobby, lounge and hot tub will
remain closed until restrictions are lifted by the government.
Guests will use their own private washrooms in their accommodations.
Our snack bar will be open with social distancing measures in place.
We encourage our guests to settle their account in full prior to arrival via e-transfer or
credit card to have a contactless check-in.
Your room key will be sanitized and left in your room.
Check -in may be delayed to 6pm to allow for extended cleaning time.
You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy the property.
If your room is ready earlier, you may move in.
Check-out time will be promptly at 10:00am to allow us maximum cleaning time.
Our staff will be following the Ontario Government Workplace Safety & Prevention
Services for Tourism & Hospitality; The Guidance from the Ministry of Labour, Training
and Skills Development during Covid-19; The Guidance on Health and Safety for
Reception, Housekeeping and Laundry during Covid-19.
Hand sanitizer will be at each building entrance.
If supplies allow, we plan to have sanitizer available in each of our guest’s rooms, that families
may carry with them on the grounds.
We encourage guests to bring their own sanitizer, practice vigilant hand washing, avoid
touching their face and eyes, and maintain social distancing as part of their own selfprotection.
Increased cleaning and sanitizing will be in place for high touch areas on the property.
